This guide uses original IGF questions. It has not yet been tested as a standardized assessment. It does not measure ability, diagnose personality, or predict college admission or career success.
Each of 12 areas appears in four different scenes. Interest ratings run from 1 to 5. “Not sure yet” is left out of the average. Choosing a role is a separate preference signal, not proof of a skill. Role choices do not change your interest scores.
An area needs at least three rated tasks to enter the suggested list. We suggest up to three areas with an average of at least 3.5, including all ties at the cutoff. We only show this list when at least two areas have enough answers and the highest and lowest eligible averages differ by at least 0.5. These are transparent starting rules, not research-validated cutoffs. Otherwise, we invite you to explore broadly.
Small score differences may not matter. Having little interest today does not mean you cannot succeed in an area. Your experiences and opportunities can affect your answers.
Major, course, graduate study, and career examples are a starting map. Programs differ by university. A graduate path is something you could learn about later, not a recommendation that you should earn a master’s or PhD. Check actual course requirements and any professional licensing rules.
We do not ask for your name or send your answers to IGF. This version keeps answers only while the page stays open. Refreshing or closing it loses them. You can choose to download or print your report and share it with a parent or counselor.
The 15-minute format is a design target. Real completion times and recommendation quality still need student testing.
